How SparkySign takes a document from draft to signed

The SparkySign team 12 Oct 2026

Most agreements don't need a lawyer's letterhead or a courier. They need two people to read the same words, agree, and leave proof that they did. That is the job SparkySign is built for, and this post walks through what happens from the moment you start a document to the moment you hold a signed copy.

Start with the words, not the software

You can begin in two ways. Pick one of the ready-made templates (agreements, letters and forms), copy it and reword it as your own, or upload a PDF you already have. Fill in the details, and you see the finished document before it goes anywhere. Nothing is sent until you press send.

The person signing needs no account

Each signer gets a private link by email. They open it, read the document, and sign on the page. There is nothing to install and no account to create, which matters when the person on the other side is a customer, a landlord or a contractor you want to keep friction low for.

If more than one person has to sign, you choose whether they sign in order or all at once. A document that needs sign-off inside your own team can be held for approval first, so a manager sees it before the outside world does.

What you keep afterwards

When the last signature lands, the document is complete and you get a signed copy. Alongside it sits a certificate recording who signed and when, and a verify page where anyone you share the link with can check that the copy hasn't been altered since it was signed. Completed documents are also sealed with SparkySign's own cryptographic key, so the record doesn't rest on our database alone.

Sending the same thing to many people

A common case is the same notice or form going to a list of people: staff acknowledging a policy, members confirming terms. Send to Many takes one document and a list of recipients and creates a separate signing request for each, so nobody sees anyone else's.

Fitting your team

SparkySign works with the rest of the Sparky suite under one login. Plans differ in how many people can send and how many seats your organization has, so check the Plans page for the current numbers before you commit.

Try it on something small

The quickest way to judge it is to send one real, low-stakes document, like a simple agreement with a friend or a supplier. You will know within five minutes whether it fits.
